Cry of River

Long back here was a flow of mine
Flowing unstopped, uninterrupted
Trees, my friends and birds my angels
We all singing songs of nature together
Were living each and every moment
With a soft smile of our smooth sounds
But the cruel fellows
Cut down my friends, my sweet cute neighbor trees
Birds have flied away in search of another sky
And me….?
Just passing day after day
Being thirsty for waters
Waters which long back I had seen
Playing in my lap
But now I am frightened by this human slap.
