ખાલીપણાનો ભાર છે ---નિખિલ જોશી

ખાલીપણાનો ભાર છે
એનો જ તો આભાર છે

એના વિષે હું શું કહું?
એ તો સમજદાર છે

આંખ માં ખૂંપી રહી
સ્વપ્નની એ ધાર છે

શાહી છે બસ ત્યાં લગી
આ કલમ ઓજાર છે

એક મુઠ્ઠી ઝાંઝવા
કે બધે વ્યાપાર છે

સાવ સૂની શેરીઓમાં
બંધ બધ્ધા દ્વાર છે

એક ભીના સ્પર્શનો
સંઘર્યો આધાર છે

સ્મિત ઝાંકળનું અહી
ફૂલ નો શણગાર છે

ઉજાગરાની ઓથમાં
આંખનો નિખાર છે

બૂંદ થઇ બેસી શકું
એટલો વિસ્તાર છે

મૂડી બચી છે આટલી
એ ઝંખના બે-ચાર છે

સંવેદનાના નામ પર
જ્યાં જુઓ ત્યાં ઠાર છે

સુર્યતાપે ગુલમહોરે
છાવની બોછાર છે

ગર્ભના આ શ્વાસમાં
અણદીઠો કો તાર છે

મધ્યદરિયે નાવનો
સઢ પરે મદાર છે

દુશ્મનોની ધારણામાં
દોસ્ત નો આ વાર છે

એ બધા ઉજવી રહ્યા
એ અમારી હાર છે

ભેટ આપ્યો તે કિનારો
ને તુંજ પેલે પાર છે

શાંત છે સઘળી દિશા
યુદ્ધનો અણસાર છે

હું ભજું કે તું પઢે
એક સઘળો સાર છે

Dreams

--NIKHIL JOSHI

Sound sleep of full night
I have never seen
Somewhere on mid-way
Always I meet a crazy cluster of dreams
Near by the lake of dream-land
Suddenly I get embraced by the cluster
Looking at horizons of the starry sky
I sing a call for you..
Saying not to send these crazy dreams
Dreams...which never come true...
And chewing the shadow of moon of memory
I walk along the dreams
On way of dusty desires
That leads me to flames of fire
I warm-up myself by the side of flames
Murmuring muteness of the earth
I wish to escape....really willing to escape...
But my dreams...!!! Oh my dreams...!!!
They never let me go back to my place
Far away when the sun is about to rise
They fly away leaving me all alone
And I come back
Carrying heavy footsteps on my shoulder
Hiding my loneliness all the way...all alone....
All the way... all alone......Longing for where my dreams are gone?

Long back here was a flow of mine
Flowing unstopped, uninterrupted
Trees, my friends and birds my angels
We all singing songs of nature together
Were living each and every moment
With a soft smile of our smooth sounds
But the cruel fellows
Cut down my friends, my sweet cute neighbor trees
Birds have flied away in search of another sky
And me….?
Just passing day after day
Being thirsty for waters
Waters which long back I had seen
Playing in my lap
But now I am frightened by this human slap.

Once upon a time dreams shattered
Buried beneath untrodden path of heart
Sigh of shattering till today
Murmuring in the mind
Blowing baffled
Music of memories in muteness
Recalls the cute conversations
Unspoken, undelivered, unexplored
And here goes
Days and nights altogether unnoticed
Leaving remarkable footprints.
